Ten Reasons to Buy HTC One Max

10. Durability

Thanks to its thin design, the HTC One Max is completely waterproof and can be dropped from up to 20 feet without being scratched. The durable metal back plate in the rear makes the device extra tough in order to protect the delicate circuit board within.

9. Sheer Size

The main feature (or drawback, depending on your preference) is its sheer size. The device measures 164.5 x 82.5 x 10.3mm and weighs 217 grams. Compared to many other smartphones on the market, it is a huge device. Compared to tablets, however, it’s very small. The idea is to find a measurement that is small enough to use as a phone, but big enough to use as a mobile computer. If you like big phones and big (on-screen) buttons, this device is for you.

8. Sleek Design

Commonly referred to as a “phablet”, as in a smart phone/tablet hybrid, the HTC One Max offers a long interface with a BoomSound speaker on both the top and bottom of the device. With a concave metal back plate for durability, the left side of the phone consists of a switch that pops the battery cover off while the right side houses a volume rocker and a power/lock button.

7. Wireless Charging

A feature that’s been growing in popularity recently is wireless charging, which the HTC One Max is fully capable of, given the proper casing. A small wireless charging card placed securely under the cover in the rear of the device is able to receive radio waves from the corresponding charging pad to charge the device’s battery by simply laying it on a mat.

6. Fingerprint Scanner

Located on the back of the device, the HTC One Max features a fingerprint scanner that allows you to securely lock and unlock your phone with the touch of a finger. The fingerprint scanner also allows you to open the device to a specific task or application by using different fingers.

One of the greatest features of the HTC One Max is its 4 megapixel camera that is built on HTC’s UltraPixel technology. While better during the day than at night, it is capable of producing images and videos at full 1080 pixel resolution and can zoom in further than other devices without causing pixilation.

4. Dual BoomSound Speakers

This makes watching movies on your phone an enjoyable experience, rather than squinting to make out what’s going on.

2. Interface

You can also display multiple desktops on one screen and synchronize the phone to your Facebook account to see content that you may be interested in based on the things you “Like”.
